Summer Country Concert | What to Wear
Stumped on what to wear to your upcoming country concert or festival? Well, you’ve come to the right place! The Country Clones have put together a quick checklist of country concert essentials to ensure you’ve got the perfect western-inspired outfit for your next hootenanny.
What to Wear to a Country Concert
Step 1 | Top. You can style almost any tank, crop top or shirt for a country music concert. Although very difficult when it’s time to use the ladies room, body suits are even trending for country festival fashion. We’ve always got our eyes peeled for pieces to add to our country concert wardrobes. Our current favorite place to shop for a country festival attire is Boot Barn. They carry great lines of western-style graphic tees that are perfect for your next concert! Tumbleroot is another one of our favorite online shops for festival wear. Their online store is full of country lyric inspired gear for your next tailgate.
Step 2 | Shorts. Destroyed Denim shorts are an absolute must for any summer country concert. Abercrombie & Fitch and American Eagle have always been our go-to shops for cutoff shorts. As girls with hips and booties, these brands have always fit us best.
Tip: Try adding a brown belt with your cutoff shorts.
Step 3 | Boots. A stylish pair of cowboy boots can fit within any budget. A nicer, more durable pair of western boots that is sure to last for years, can cost an upwards of $400. Some of our favorite western boot brands include Corral, Ariat, Justin, and Shyanne. You can find these popular brands at large western stores like Boot Barn, Boot World, as well as on Amazon.
Tips: We always go a size bigger with boots, so our feet have a little bit of wiggle room. Never wear a new pair of boots to a festival that involves a lot of walking… trust us, your feet will thank you later.
Step 4 | Flannel. A plaid flannel tied around your waist is an easy way to add a little western flare to any outfit. Flannels are also great for those chilly nights, and you don’t want to carry a jacket. From department stores to local boutiques, you can find flannels almost anywhere. Best of all, they come in a variety of colors and never go out of style.
Step 5 | Accessories. We love to accessorize! No outfit is complete without a few accessories to bring it all together. We often switch between a leather or suede choker, bolo tie necklace, or bandana around the neck. Don’t forget a fringe purse or backpack! Visit Revel Wild for great jewelry pieces for your next country concert!
Step 6 | Sandals. If it’s too hot to wear boots to your festival or concert, opt for a great pair of stylish sandals! We have these sandals in a few colors, and we love them! They are inexpensive and go with just about any outfit. Just make sure you tie them tight to prevent them from falling down.
Step 7 | Don’t Forget a PopSocket Cell Phone Grip! PopSocket . Hold onto your phone a bit easier with a Popsocket!
Step 8 | HAVE FUN AT YOUR CONCERT!
